FUSEBOX 2.0

Apply Now for the Second Year of Our Artist Residency!

Open Eye Figure Theatre is thrilled to announce the launch of FUSEBOX 2.0, the second year of our new artist-in-residence program supporting artists who develop and create their own work that explores new intersections in performance, dance, song, puppetry, and object theater.

FUSEBOX 2.0 provides a gravity-free laboratory for multi-disciplinary artists who want to nurture the spark of a new idea—test it, break it, rewire it, discover how it can fly. We provide artists with space, time, funding, and permission to try anything.

Artists selected to participate in FUSEBOX 2.0 will inspire, influence and challenge each other creatively. As much as we’re nurturing individual projects, we want to influence deeper conversations, networks, and future collaborations.

This year's residency will support 3 emerging or established artists who will feature puppetry and/or object theater vocabularies in the work they are developing. The FUSEBOX program is committed to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion; artists of all backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to apply.
