Deviated Septum Productions Presents
HOW TO AVOID BURNOUT IN 73 MINUTES (A MINIMALLY INVASIVE MUSICAL PROCEDURE)
September 5 - 8, 2019
Book and songs by Stuart Bloom
Directed by Peter Moore
Stuart Bloom is a popular cancer doctor, but he’s having a dark night of the soul. His patients are sick, many of them are dying, the insurance companies are breathing down his neck and he’s just received a reprimand for using the F-word in his dictations. Has he succumbed to burnout? Is his career finished? Tonight he’ll find the answers – with the help of a journal full of songs and a strange visitor who knows his thoughts.
