The show is semi-autobiographical performance presented in vignettes about life’s stages and relationships through dance, song, vaudeville, text and projections. Barbra and Sonya Berlovitz and their mother Jennie perform it with choreography by Laurie Van Wieren.
The piece will appeal to followers of Theatre de la Jeune Lune, carrying over the tradition of highly visual theatre and physical comedy, while stepping inside the minds of a multi-generational Jewish family, most notably my 98-year old mother. It will be eye opening and inspirational to viewers both young and old with humor and depictions of family interactions that everyone can relate to.
