Open Eye Figure Theatre and SteppingStone Theatre for Youth Development present a five-week theatrical adventure for the young at heart! Join us on both sides of the river for performances that spark the imagination with shadow puppetry, tap-dancing wizards, barking mops, a snail delivering mail, a hipster Mr. Rogers, dancing fairies making magic, misbehaving puppets, a land of clowns, and a fort filled with pillows to explore your dreams.

With nothing more than scissors snipping, animated teapots and flying feathers, this unique and engaging performance will transport you to the countryside where the little duckling suffered so greatly before discovering his true self.  Commissioned by the American Swedish Institute and created in collaboration by Kimberly Richardson and Michael Sommers. Dogs abound in a mischievous world where a janitor's mop becomes a dog, objects are transformed and the ordinary becomes extraordinary.  Mop Dog helps paint shadows and clouds, digs into the unknowns of discovery and saves the world as it fills with water.  A musical score of inspired street jazz merges with four ensemble members bring to life objects and shadows in this imaginative tale.
