Open Eye is thrilled to welcome back Madeleine Rowe as part of our Guest Artist Series, performing another original solo show that combines comic clowning, inspired physical theater and clever writing in a monstrous tale about love, loss, and being more than the sum of your parts.

About the Artist
Madeleine Rowe (they/them)
Madeleine is a theater artist, clown, and teacher who has performed locally, nationally and internationally. Madeleine‘s training includes world renowned clown teacher Philippe Gaulier, acclaimed British comedy troupe Spymonkey, MFA training from the University of TN and a BA from Augsburg. Previously a member of Sheep Theater in the Twin Cities, Madeleine recently created the solo show Knight, Knight (touring in 2024), and was featured in Orpheus in the Underworld, a Spymonkey co-production with the Vienna Volksoper. Other credits include Yellow Tree Theater, Four Humors, and the Clarence Brown Theater.
