To initiate a gift to Open Eye Theatre, please contact your philanthropic advisor or fund manager. A check from your fund will be sent directly to Open Eye Theatre.

Open Eye Theatre gratefully accepts gifts of stock, which can provide you with significant tax benefits when you contribute long-term appreciated stock.
According to current tax regulations, you can claim a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock, up to 30% of your adjusted gross income in the year the donation is made, with a five-year carryover for any excess amount. Besides the charitable gift tax deduction, donating stock can also help you avoid capital gains tax on the unrealized appreciation of the stocks.
HOW TO DONATE STOCK
Reach out to your broker to decide which stock and how many shares you wish to donate.
Please provide the following information to Patron Services Manager Andy Whitman (andy.whitman@openeyetheatre.org or 612-874-6338) so we can instruct our broker to accept your gift and properly acknowledge it for income tax purposes:

Approximate value of the gift
