In addition to our MainStage productions, Open Eye is deeply committed to curating and presenting a dynamic Guest Artist Series that highlights emerging local artists and innovative performing ensembles who tell stories in ways that are fresh, fun, and experimental.
A special one-night musical event before Christmas!
The Champagne Drops is a musical duo made up of singers Emily Dussault and Leslie Vincent. The two celebrated performers are known for their jazzy, bubbly holiday shows, but over the years they have been drawn to the darker side of the season ... the ghosts of Christmas, the legends lurking in the shadowy corners of history, the yearning melancholy that creeps in when the nights grow longer.

Leslie Vincent
Leslie is a prolific songwriter and jazz vocalist, equally at home singing the Great American Songbook and contemporary rock and pop. Her original song “Icetown Blues” was named one of the best songs of 2023 on Jazz.88 and AmericanaUK praised her voice as “Amy Winehouse had she gone full-tilt jazz.”

Emily Dussault
Emily is a singer and actor who has performed at many theatres, including History Theatre, Theatre Elision, Six Points Theatre, Gremlin Theatre, and ArtistryMN. She is one half of jazz duo The Champagne Drops alongside Leslie Vincent.
