Ghoulish Delights presents two classic tales of terror, "The Rats in the Walls" and "Three Skeleton Key," live on stage!
The black rat (Rattus rattus), also known as the roof rat, ship rat, or house rat…
Join us for a double bill of rat-themed horror stories live on stage at Open Eye Theatre, performed by Joshua English Scrimshaw, Tim Uren, and Eric Webster of the Mysterious Old Radio Listening Society!
Act I: The performance begins with Uren's one-man version of “The Rats in the Walls.” The last heir to a cursed lineage returns to his ancestral home in England, where the sound of vermin leads him to the depths of the ancient priory. This show performed to critical acclaim and sold out houses during the 2006 and 2016 Minnesota Fringe Festivals.
Act II: English Scrimshaw and Webster join Uren for a new adaptation of “Three Skeleton Key.” A mysterious ship with no crew crashes off the coast of South America, unleashing a nightmarish siege on the men inside a nearby lighthouse! As the MORLS, this trio of actors has performed the radio version of this story before, but this will be their first time taking on the story as a stage play!
